The run off has begun.

The NF of the CDA is flowing at 11,000 CFS at Cataldo and the water temp is at 38 degrees.  There are still fish to be had though.  I was out yesterday and had a little luck fishing where tributaries such as Little NF and Prichard enter the NF of the CDA.  Streamers were working if you can find some deep slack water.  I did not see any hatches.  If you are going to nymph try big stone flies and get them deep.

The St. Joe and Clark Fork are experiencing similar conditions.  Both are flowing at 8,000 CFS and will probably keep rising as it continues to rain and warm up from winter.
